Alright, been a while since I’ve updated but I’m getting my ass back in gear. I’ll be starting a new photography project as you can see by the sneak peak here. Expect more updates with animation and sketches as well tho.

Snow White

This time of year inspired me to do something with the comic book series Fables and Mucha. Painting was done digitally without wacom, I’m gonna have to decide soon weither or not I want to invest in a wacom or learn to do the colours traditionally (might not be a bad idea to start using waterproof ink instead for these things!)

Cheese and stuff

Another small sketchbook update. I find it very difficult to draw disfigured characters without reference, yet googling for it often give results one rather wishes to unsee. The best reference seems to be from old carnivale pictures of circus freaks or other anatomy drawings. I got my inspiration from Arturo Rivera, if you haven’t seen his work already I advice you to look it up, the man’s work is brilliant.

I’ve made a portrait of a friend of mine. I did the linework with pen and ink and then coloured it in photoshop (unfortunately without a wacom). Read more to see the progress.
